Veneers and Laminates: 

 

Veneers and Laminates can be used to change the shape or color of permanent teeth.  They can effectively correct gaps in teeth as well as teeth that are unevenly worn or chipped. 

 

Veneers are usually made from porcelain or bonding material in the shape of customized shells that can be cemented to the facial aspect of your permanent teeth.    They can be used to change the esthetics of one unsightly discolored or chipped tooth or multiple teeth in both arches.

 

Good oral hygiene is imperative to maintain these restorations in their optimal cosmetic condition.

 

Crowns: 

 

Crowns can also be used to achieve a great cosmetic result.  These restorations are usually made of porcelain and are best used in situations where large amounts of teeth and tooth surfaces have been damaged.  (Please see our section on Crowns and Bridges.)

 

Bondings:

 

Bonding with composite resin is a quick, easy, and relatively inexpensive way of changing the shape or shade of teeth.  Bonding can be done in one office visit, and patients can leave the office with a great new look.
